Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2019

In order to register and fill the application form, applicants must check and meet the KCET Eligibility Criteria 2019. These criteria are given out by the exam conducting body for providing admission to only eligible candidates. The eligibility criteria of KCET 2019 are listed below:

  • The candidate must hold a citizenship of India.
  • Applicants must have studied in Karnataka at least for 7 years (from class 1st to 2nd PUC or class 12th ) as on 1 July, 2019.
  • Aspirants must have cleared 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subject along with any one of the following subjects Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Electronics/ Computer.
  • The candidate must also have studied English in 10+2.
  • General category aspirants must have obtained 45% in three subjects in 10+2 while SC/ST/OBC category aspirants must have secured 40%.

KCET Application Form 2019

Karnataka Examination Authority will release KCET Application Form 2019 in the first week of February. Only eligible applicants will be able to fill the application form. The details that need to be filled in the form consist of personal, contact and academic details. These details must be relevant and valid. Any wrong details or incomplete form will lead to its rejection. Applicants must submit their form on or before the last date of submission which is in the third week of March, 2019.

KCET Admit Card 2019

The exam conducting body will issue KCET Admit Card 2019 for only registered aspirants. The admit card will be released in the first week of April, 2019 in online mode only. The authority will not send the admit card via post or on the email ids. The Admit card of KCET 2019 is an important document as it acts as an identity proof for appearing applicants.

KCET Result 2019

Applicants can check their KCET Result 2019 from the official website in the first week of June, 2019. KEA is responsible for declaring the result. The result will display the score and rank secured by the candidate. Counselling will be conducted for applicants depending on their performance and seats will be allotted to them.

Aspirants can view their result by following below mentioned steps:

  1. Visit the official website http://kea.kar.nic.in/
  2. Enter registration number of KCET 2019.
  3. Click on the “Submit” button.
  4. The KCET Result 2019 will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download and take a printout of the result

 KCET Counselling 2019

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will conduct the KCET Counselling 2019 in offline phase. The counselling will be organized for all the qualifiers of KCET 2019 examination.  During the counselling process, verification of documents will commence from the second week of June, 2019. After this verification, applicants have to fill choices of courses and colleges according to their interest and convenience. The choice filling must be in priority order. The authority will also conduct Mock Allotment to make applicants familiar with the seat allotment process.
