LCdr (Ret’d) Rob Francis released from the CAF in July 2016 after 20 years of service. Originally from Stellarton, Nova Scotia, Rob Francis began his career in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Naval Warfare Officer, having served in Her Majesty’s Canadian Ships PRESERVER, HALIFAX, and VILLE DE QUEBEC as a bridge watch keeper and an Anti-Submarine Warfare director. He spent over 500 days at sea, including a deployment to the Persian Gulf in response to the 9/11 attacks. A highlight of Rob’s naval career his work as a Ship’s Diver.
