It’s a well- known fact that Indians love spicy food. But there are a few who love it a bit, or rather much more, than the rest, making the taste bud adventure adrenaline further exciting.

And that is why you can find spicy food all over India, but there are a few states that love to take the level of fire to extremes simply to challenge themselves.

If you’re someone who can see tears leaking out the corners of your eyes at the mention of spicy food, this is the only warning we’ll be issuing to turn back now.

However, if you’re an avid lover of spicy food and are confident that you can handle practically anything that comes your way, keep reading on.

This one is especially for you guys who can relish the exotic spices and flavours that this stunning country offers. So, go book your flight tickets to India with cheap airfare immediately.

Do let us know if you have tried anything mentioned here or are willing to try some of this hell- fire deliciousness.

1) Rajasthan

The state is most popular for its traditional handicrafts and castles shimmering in the desert sands. However, thanks to its predominantly vegetarian population, there is no shortage of spicy vegetarian delicacies.

For example, Gatte Ki Sabzi, Ker Sangri Ki Sabzi and Ker Pickle. Rajasthani people love lots of spices and oil in their cuisine, and hence a typical Rajasthani restaurant menu chiefly consists of vegetarian dishes.

That’s not to say that non- vegetarian lovers have a no- go there.

If you are interested in having spicy non- vegetarian foods, you need to check out Laal Maas- which is traditionally a deliciously thick mutton gravy prepared with the spiciest Mathania chillies.

These Mathania chillies are typically only found in the city of Mathania, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Apart from the traditional route, if you’re craving a lip- tingling snack, try the Mirchi Vada, which is chillies coated in batter and deep fried in oil. The dishes are oily, yet so soulfully satisfying for all your cravings.

2) Kerala

Also known as God’s own country, this beautifully striking state has more to offer than its stunning vistas and clear backwaters with palm lined shores.

South Indian food is known for being healthy- from the Appams, Dosas, Idlis, and Uttapams to just plain steamed rice. However, not all dishes found here are just bland or tangy.

Kerala is also renowned for its rich variety in seafood and non- vegetarian cuisine, such as Kerala chicken curry, mutton curry, spicy chicken fry and prawn curry.

That said, you need to try the Kerala chicken roast to know what we’re going on about.

Succulent and juicy chicken is roasted in rustic masalas and curry leaves and fried till it’s crispy, along with peppers, onions, and loads of green chillies.

This dish is practically a mouth- watering and lip- burning bundle, wrapped up in one. You’d not be wanting to miss this.

Let us know if you’re willing to book multi city flights to taste these spicy delicacies; our team is eager to assist you 24*7.
