Additionally, it funds academicians. The DAAD scholarship is one of the most prestigious German scholarships. It is available to students who are interested in pursuing a full-time degree at a German university. Eligibility criteria for students who wish to enroll in a graduate program is that they must have a bachelor's or equivalent degree. They also need to have at least two years of experience. Postgraduate students receive a stipend of EUR850 per month. Doctoral students receive EUR1,200 per month.


Deutschland Stipendium National Scholarship Programme

The Deutschland Stipendium offers financial assistance to international students with outstanding academic records. It does not take into consideration the nationality of the applicant, as with other German scholarships. The initial scholarship is for two semesters. However, it can be extended to cover the entire length of a student's studies. The institution reviews the student's performance, and determines if the student meets the scholarship criteria to continue funding. This scholarship also offers mentoring programs and many internship opportunities. The scholarship is possible because of close public-private collaboration. Different businesses, foundations and individuals on an individual level sponsor students with a monthly sum of EUR150. For financial aid, the federal government contributes an additional EUR150.


The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarship

This scholarship is another option that could help you pursue your dream education in Germany. Multiple applicants from foreign countries, including India, can apply for the scholarship. Candidates can apply for financial aid through the scholarship to pay tuition at a state-recognized or state-based University of Applied Sciences. This scholarship only allows candidates to demonstrate exceptional German proficiency, even if they choose to study in English. The fundings will only be available to 40 applicants from Asia, Africa and Latin America. The UG course applicants will receive 830 Euros (INR 70,000), while the PG course students will receive 850 Euros per month (INR 75,000).
