It is the cheapest thing that protects us from excessive rain and sunlight. Hajj pilgrims carry lightweight umbrellas in Haram. So you must carry this simplest protective tool while performing the Hajj rituals. It is impossible there to hide from the intense sun all the time.


  • Be Hydrated


In flaming sunlight of Makkah, it is inevitable for the pilgrims to stay hydrated all the time. So, it is highly recommended to carry water bottle in your handbags everywhere during Hajj. Make sure to drink plenty of water during the day amidst intense hot and huge throngs.


  • Use Moisturizer or Sunblock


It’s fine if you are not a regular sunblock or moisturizer user in daily routine. However, during Hajj it is strongly suggested to apply sunblock before going out in sunlight. It is the easiest way to protect your skin from sunburn.


  • Use Glucose Packets or sweet candies


The Hajj becomes physically exhaustive during summers in Saudi Arabia. However, the consumption of glucose would give you extra energy to perform the difficult rituals of Hajj. So it is strongly advised to keep extra packets of glucose. Add it into water and consume it throughout the day to stay energetic and hydrated.


  • Drink Zamzam water

  • Avoid Consumption of Caffeine


Be mindful that caffeine is not good in hot summers, especially during Hajj. It is not readily available during Hajj either. Black tea or coffee may increase dehydration in the body. So it is recommended to avoid it completely in hotter days of major event.


  • Take Rest



It is quite normal if you find Hajj rituals tiring. So it is advised to all pilgrims to take rest there as much as possible. Don’t waste energy and time by wandering there unnecessarily.
