A plan to visit at Nagpur Gorewada Zoo

Nature lovers in Nagpur have always been drawn to Gorewada's scenic views of the forest, lake, and natural landscapes. WILD GOREWADA's tranquil wilderness can be explored on a total of 1914 ha of the urban forest.

Nagpur Gorewada Zoo, more commonly known as it is, is planned to cover 564 ha. Currently, only the project's first phase;i.e., the public can visit Indian Safari. It stands out from other zoos because of its distinctive drive-through experience. An enclosed bus transports visitors here into the animal enclosures. In their natural environments, take pleasure in the natural beauty of wild beats.

A 25-hectare drive-through exhibit is Leopard Safari. It was influenced by our tribal people who lived in the forest and had a strong connection to nature. The theme of a degraded forest landscape dominated by humans also highlights habitat restoration efforts for conservation. The safari starts in an abandoned village and goes through a tunnel that was inspired by ancient paintings and other natural wonders that show how humans have always interacted with our natural neighbours. Herbivorous: The Swift Bonanza -

Over 40 ha of forest, grassland, and natural streams are traversed on the Swift Bonanza - Herbivore Safari. Our prize collection includes Sangai (Brow-antlered Deer), the rarest deer in the world. Pale-skinned people charm you for their exceptionally beautiful allure. Different attractions in herbivores incorporate Blackbuck, Yelping Deer, Spotted deer, Sambar, Nilgai, and some more… Huge quantities of peacocks and other wild birds partake in the organization of our prisoners here. Tiger: A Gentle Beast -

Tiger, the most magnificent animal in the world, is a gentle beast. A tiger acts, not shouts, it's tigritude. Our Gem Rajkumar and Lee invite you to this 25Ha drive-through nook. The central Indian jungles, where our famous tigers are waiting, are the focus of this exhibit.
