Abha (Discipline- Dance)
It is a group dance performed by experienced artists and curated by Mayuri Upadhya (Indian Choreographer who is also a successful entrepreneur and TV personality). Abha is a Bharatnatyam that draws inspiration from Devdutt Pattanaik’s Sita. With the medium of the classical dance, artists will represent the story of the holy epic Ramayana. Naachiyar Next (Discipline – Dance)
Classically trained in Bharat Natyam, Anita Ratnam will make her audience mesmerise at Old GMC Complex on 19 December 2022. The globally acclaimed choreographer will represent once again her 2013 classic production “Naachiyar” with 18 other trained artists. Andal who is also known as Kothai, Godadevi, and Naachiyar was a female saint who was one of the famous among twelve Hindu poet-saints of South India. She composed two literary works in Tamil. The classical dance, Anita Ratnam will bring on the stage of Old GMC Complex will represent emotions, passion and devotion of Andal to Lord Krishna.
